After 26 years of collaborating on industrial projects, we completed The Pizzuti Companies' first multifamily high-rise in Chicago. At 19-stories, Coppia adds 298 rental units to the convergence of the Fulton Market District, Greektown, and the Illinois Medical District. Located on a tight site and flanked by two other residential buildings, the footprint of the building was bisected by South Aberdeen before terminating at the Eisenhower Expressway. In order to close down and eliminate this portion of the street, an in depth safety review was conducted to identify and reroute utilities outside of the building footprint. Distinguished from neighboring buildings, Coppia offers resort-style amenities including a sun deck with swimming pool, expansive outdoor lounge, party room with a full kitchen, 2,200 sf game room, 5,000 sf co-working facility, a dog park with dog spa, and 24-hour concierge service.
