As a leading developer of custom-engineered and application products, Methode Electronic's headquarter office was designed to incorporate the latest technology, while providing employees and clients with a collaborative work space. This 24,000 sf, 10th floor office renovation features private offices, conference rooms, focus rooms, two phone rooms designed as phone booths, an IT build room for employees to turn their ideas into products, and a large cafe with banquette seating.
Previously a headquarter office for an athletic company, our project team coordinated all demo work, which required gaining access to the 9th floor and working throughout the weekends, to re-route multiple plumbing and electrical lines to accommodate 210 Methode employees. To match the owner's vision for this cutting-edge workplace, our team installed three different types of vintage wall panels in a private office, while installing 10 different wall coverings throughout the entire office space. Furthering this trendy, yet modern vision, our project team installed white perforated panels along the ceiling, while placing sheet lighting behind the panels, providing a glowing effect and leaving a lasting impression on clients and guests.
