Power Workplace Group was challenged with the build-out of the 31st floor for the Bureau of Asset Management Group at the Cook County Building. This 20,300 sf office space was modernized to include updated conference spaces, multitudes of flexible collaboration space, and a new open office format which takes advantage of the natural light and amazing views.
Stair Infill
- Build-out included an interconnecting stair infill where over 11,000 pounds of steel had to be installed due to existing field conditions of the rebar in the concrete which did not allow for the cast in place concrete infill.
Virtual Technology Upgrades
- Office space includes upgrading virtual conferencing featuring Microsoft Team's Rooms with numerous conference spaces.
Diversity Goals
- We were able to commit and follow through with 42% MBE/WBE participated which greatly exceeded the client requirements.
Government Entities
- Since the Bureau of Asset Management is located within a government building, we ensured coordination of all security measures and exercised caution to prevent any disruption to other government employees.
