The Astellas Headquarters features an eye-catching structural-steel frame. The trapezoid shape and multi-story cantilevered wings provide unique views of the corporate campus. The high-performance curtainwall is comprised of over 16 atypical shapes. Inside, both 7-story buildings feature extensive open office spaces to maximize collaboration.

Safety Along This Prominent Highway Interchange Was a Priority

This project was constructed on a Greenfield site directly adjacent to the busy interchange of Interstate 294 and Willow Road. Our comprehensive site-specific safety program included policies and procedures, responsibilities for each individual on the project, and expectations for subcontractors and their employees. In addition, we managed:

• Visual, site-specific orientation facilitated daily by on-site safety personnel.
• A daily huddle for all trades to review the day’s activities, hazards and control measures necessary to eliminate incidents.
• Safe worker recognition for those going above and beyond to identify and address safety and health concerns, including potential pedestrian issues.
