With decades of collaboration, Vanee Foods Company engaged United Insulated Structures to transform their existing cold storage warehouse into a USDA-compliant food plant. This 61,000 sf expansion was designed to meet growing demands and improve the work environment, featuring a -5°F cooler dock, ambient dry storage, and compactor/trash rooms. Our safety and quality teams were actively involved from the preconstruction phase, ensuring a strong start to the project. We also managed the installation of insulated metal panels and carpentry work in-house.
Insulated Metal Panels: We self performed Insulated Metal Panels utilizing an innovative approach, we completed the freezer panel installation in just seven working days. Employing a cutting-edge suction cup technique, our crews were able to efficiently put the panels in place and used a telehandler for precise positioning. This suction cup method represents the forefront of our industry, showcasing our commitment to innovation and improvement. As we integrate new technologies and techniques, our teams are ready to deliver exceptional results, raising the bar for quality and efficiency in every project we undertake.
