This project involves a 17,000 sf, four-phase expansion of the Day Surgery Department, designed by Kahler Slater. The new facility includes a post-anesthesia care unit, prep and recovery rooms, two endoscopy procedure rooms, as well as essential support spaces, a reception and waiting area, and staff break/locker rooms. The work was completed in four phases within the existing department, allowing the project team to expedite the timeline by utilizing overtime hours to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption.
