This four-story academic building, designed to simulate a real hospital environment, features mock exam rooms, emergency bays, and technologically enhanced classrooms for nursing skills training. It also includes a research center, office space, and a student lounge. The building’s enclosure incorporates a curtainwall with external shades on the south side, a precast core wall with a mechanical system on the west for heat dissipation, and clear glass on the north for transparency.
Built on the medical center campus, it is connected to the Stritch School of Medicine, also constructed by Power.
Quality Focus
Our team dedicated a full-time QC engineer at the precast plant to ensure quality of radiant tubing within the precast planks that created the structure for the building.
