Delivered under a design-build approach with joint-venture partners Ujamaa Construction, Englewood STEM High School features modern classrooms and collaborative educational spaces to provide an enhanced learning experience for all students. The Englewood STEM High School features modern classrooms and collaborative educational spaces to that offer a variety of core classes and more, such as music, art, health, dance, and extracurricular activities. The campus will feature athletic fields for football, baseball, softball, and track, as well as courts for tennis and basketball. Additional opportunities for students include early college programs at Kennedy-King College so that students can earn college credit and participate in vocational programs, including a construction program with carpentry and welding instruction while in high school.
The building also house a self-contained school-based health center designed to support both the students and the community-at-large. The health center provides access to comprehensive primary care and behavioral health services to residents of Englewood and surrounding neighborhoods.
