A group of 45 Power with Purpose volunteers gathered at the Anti-Cruelty Society in River North to make pet toys and beds while playing with some of their shelter animals. Nearing their 125th anniversary, the organization started the "Groups Who Care" program to utilize volunteer hours to provide vital shelter services like crafting pet beds, doing shelter laundry, stocking supplies, providing socialization to the shelter animals, and other miscellaneous tasks as requested by Shelter Management. Our team had a great time supporting the cause and are already looking forward to the next event.
