POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Outside Sales Representative will play a critical role in driving business growth by developing and maintaining relationships with key construction professionals through targeting customer needs. This position requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to identify new business opportunities. You will collaborate closely with division managers to provide tailored solutions and oversee the bidding and deal-closing process.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and maintain simultaneous strong relationships with general contractor and subcontractor firms
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within commercial, residential, and industrial construction markets
• Conduct site visits and meetings to understand client needs and provide customized product solutions
• Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and market developments
• Deliver compelling product presentations and negotiate deals to secure sales
• Partner with Division Managers to streamline sales processes and maximize efficiency
• Provide top-tier customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships
• Monitor industry developments to identify potential sales opportunities and expand market reach
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven experience in outside sales with construction or contractor supply industry experience preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-driven and highly motivated to generate new business
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to travel for client visits and job site meetings
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously
COMPENSATION DETAILS:
Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000
This position is eligible for additional commission-based compensation after the base salary range.
