Marketing Communications Specialist (Photography Experience Preferred)

About the Role
As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping our company’s messaging, content, and visual storytelling. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to create compelling materials that engage employees, clients, and industry partners. Key Responsibilities
• Support marketing and communication strategies.
• Write and edit engaging content for various channels, including website, social media, newsletters, and internal communications.
• Capture high-quality photography of projects, people, and events to enhance marketing materials.
• Collaborate with teams across the company to develop content.
• Assist with content development for proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral.
• Edit and organize photo assets for use in marketing materials and maintain an image library.
• Assist in monitoring social media channels and website updates, ensuring timely and relevant content.
• Able to work with team to coordinate, develop, and prepare high-quality statements of interest, qualification packages, proposals, and interview presentations.

• Understands the basic technical processes of design and construction and can translate that knowledge into compelling proposal content and relevant project stories.
• Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is a plus, but not required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 3–8 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences.
• Experience in photography and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom) is a plus.
A portfolio (writing/photography samples) will be requested upon interview
COMPENSATION DETAILS:
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
