POSITION SUMMARY
As a Business Consultant II, you use your experience and knowledge to help our clients provide exceptional experiences through better systems and processes. Your primary focus is working directly with clients in optimizing their processes and use of their software applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assess & Improve Business Processes
• Conduct comprehensive business process assessments with project teammates, helping identify areas where our clients can enhance efficiencies, achieve cost savings, and/or improve overall effectiveness.
• Actively contribute to documentation of the Palmer team’s recommendations.
2. Implement & Optimize Construction Software Applications
• Consult with clients on ERP, PM, and other software solutions’ configuration and/or customization options that enhance clients’ strategies, business goals, and/or process effectiveness.
3. Provide Ongoing Client Support
• Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout clients’ ERP transition or optimization, addressing questions, troubleshooting, and sharing best practices.
• Continuously stay updated on industry best practices to provide informed advice.
4. Assist with Teaching & Training Super-Users
• Assist in the creation and facilitation of super-user workshops that familiarize users with system configuration, limitations, and troubleshooting methods.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
• Able to apply understanding of the construction industry to provide informed and actionable advice to our clients and drive business outcomes.
• Construction ERP knowledge, especially with CMiC, Viewpoint, and/or other construction-specific ERPs.
• Understanding of construction business processes such as project controls, project accounting, corporate accounting, or project management / operations.
• Demonstrates growing consulting and business process assessment skills.
• Can quickly develop an understanding of and ability to navigate through new technologies, staying adaptive and ready for varying client needs.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Experience implementing, supporting, and optimizing construction ERP systems.
• Ability to travel up to 30%
