Our leaders don’t just manage—they build. Whether on-site or in the office, they empower teams, foster collaboration, and stay actively involved throughout every project. This hands-on approach creates a culture where learning moves faster and clients have confidence that their project is on track from start to finish.
We believe in growing leadership from within—nurturing talent, passing on values, and building strength for the long term. Rooted deeply in Chicago but working nationwide, our leaders carry forward a commitment to integrity, teamwork, and delivering meaningful results.
At Power, leadership is about supporting people, leading by example, and building trust every day. That’s the Power Way.
Executive Leadership
Jeff GeierPresident & CEO
Iowa State University '90 | Joined Power in 2000
Jeff started his career on a 200‑acre intermodal facility and rail yard in California, fresh out of Iowa State and brand‑new to the world of railroads. Three years later, the project opened successfully and he’d become a committed student of railroad history. Experiences like that shaped his approach early on: stay curious, stay steady, and don’t shy away from the unfamiliar.
He joined Power in 2000 and began managing complex projects for corporate and developer clients. Over the years, Jeff has built a reputation for pairing big‑picture strategy with the details that make buildings work for people. Whether he’s supporting a project team or helping guide the firm’s direction, he’s known for staying calm under pressure, making thoughtful decisions, and rolling up his sleeves when the work calls for it.
Jeff often shares the same straightforward advice with newer team members: listen more than you speak, spend time on site, and walk your project every day. It’s how you learn, how you build trust, and how you grow. That mindset also shapes how he thinks about Power’s future — developing strong leaders, giving people room to take on challenges, and pushing them into roles they may not feel fully ready for yet. It’s how he was developed, and how he believes the next generation will thrive.
He’s energized by where the company is headed. Power has never been more diverse in its work or stronger in its structure, and Jeff sees a team built to take on anything, one that stays connected to the work and keeps its hands in a little bit of everything.
Outside of work, Jeff enjoys the everyday energy of Chicago — its architecture, its lakefront, and its endless things to do, even if the winters test everyone’s patience.

Dave AnderskowSenior Vice President and CFO
With Power since: 1995
First construction job: Controller at Power. A recruiter friend of mine told me about the company culture and Power's president at that time, Tom Settles, and that he was confident it would be a marriage made in heaven. I've been learning about the construction industry ever since.
Words of wisdom for a new person in the business: Each and every day - Learn something new and have fun.
Something you're proud of: My son and daughter are genuinely caring and thoughtful young adults.
Favorite place on Earth: Everyone that knows me would expect me to say Wrigley Field since I am a huge Cubs fan. But my real answer these days is simply wherever my grandkids are. However, if they happen to be in Maui that's cool with me.
Good book recommendation: I like to listen to TED Talks and have been inspired, like many others, by Simon Sinek. His book "Start with Why" is one of my favorites. I recently have started reading his newest book "The Infinite Game" and have high hopes that I'll be further motivated and inspired by his insights.

Sean BowkerSenior Vice President
Milwaukee School of Engineering '94 | Joined Power in 1996
Sean has spent over 30 years at Power, blending field experience with financial and strategic leadership. He joined the firm in 1996 as an Assistant Superintendent after graduating from the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a degree in architectural engineering, and he still leans on that hands‑on background when helping teams work through challenges.
Today, Sean helps guide Power’s financial direction and long‑term planning while staying closely connected to project work, especially major healthcare projects for Chicago’s leading institutions. For Sean, Lurie Children’s Hospital stands out as a meaningful and demanding assignment — complex, high‑stakes, and centered on the kids who would use the space. He maintains a decades-long relationship with Northwestern Medicine that began with the health system’s replacement hospital project in the 1990s and continues today across a wide range of projects. This lasting partnership is a testament to the trust he builds and the value he brings to clients.
Known for his collaborative leadership style, Sean is most energized when supporting teams through challenging work, clearing roadblocks, offering a different perspective, and helping everyone move in the same direction. He has stayed at Power for three decades because of the people and the culture. He loves solving problems alongside teammates who care just as much about the work as the outcome, and he’s proud to lead in a place where doing the right thing truly matters. Looking ahead, he is focused on supporting Power’s growth while protecting the beliefs that define the firm especially developing the next generation of leaders and continuing to build the right way.
Outside of work, you are most likely to find him on the golf course with his son or cheering on Alabama football. Roll Tide.

Tim GiegerichSenior Vice President
Bradley University '02 | Joined Power in 2002
Joined Power as an intern while studying Civil Engineering and Construction Management at Bradley University, and came on full-time in 2002. Tim's experience in both superintendent and project management roles continues to shape his approach today as a Senior Vice President. Over the course of his career, his work has spanned multiple markets with a strong focus on developer-led projects in the multi‑family, office, student housing and hospitality sectors.
Throughout his career, he has focused on investing in people — helping others grow, building strong relationships, and learning from the mentors who guided him. He’s most proud of navigating the challenges of work and life with balance and supporting others in doing the same. Power’s beliefs align closely with his own: do the right thing, work hard, and have fun along the way. Having spent his entire career at Power, he can’t imagine working anywhere else. He often shares one piece of advice with new team members: active listening is more powerful than being the loudest voice. It’s how you learn and build trust.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. Much of his family’s time is spent at soccer fields, dance competitions, or traveling, and when he can, he’s golfing or fishing.
Looking ahead, he’s committed to carrying forward the culture and values that have defined Power for 100 years and supporting the next generation of builders shaping its future.

Chris JonesSenior Vice President
Purdue University '04 | Joined Power in 2004
Joined Power as a PE intern, then took a field path from PE to superintendent to senior superintendent. Those years on site taught him how to build, how to lead, and how much a project depends on a strong, supported team. Moving into a business unit leadership role was the right next challenge and helped prepare him for his work today on Power’s Executive Leadership Team.
He’s had the most impact by helping people grow — coaching teams through challenges, sharing what he has learned, and creating an environment where they can succeed. Projects like Lurie Children’s Hospital and the NU Simpson Querrey Biomedical Research Center stand out not just for what they mean to Chicago, but for the teams who brought them to life. Exceeding client expectations and helping people grow in their careers are what matter most to him.
For Chris, the reason he chose Power, and stayed, is the culture. It always comes back to the people, and the way they live the company’s beliefs every day. His advice to new team members is simple: stay curious, ask questions, and don't be afraid to jump in. That's how you learn and how you grow.
Outside of work, Chris is a father of three, and most of his time is spent at kids’ sporting events, traveling with family, or working in his garden. He also loves any excuse to get outdoors — especially on the water, in the mountains, or up north in Michigan.
Looking ahead, he's excited about the future because of the people who have chosen to make Power their life’s work.

Paul MeyerSenior Vice President
Iowa State University '02 | Joined Power in 2003
After two internships elsewhere, Paul interned at Power while studying construction engineering at Iowa State and joined full‑time in 2002. He was drawn to Power because, from the start, it was clear the company valued doing the right thing and treating people the right way whether they’re teammates, clients, or subcontractors. Growing up on active hospital jobsites gave him an early foundation in communication and problem‑solving, and as his career progressed, he stepped into new markets and later into broader leadership, including helping guide Power’s expansion into data center work.
He believes every project starts with a clear vision and is known for his straightforward, practical approach in the field. He takes pride in being a strong builder, understanding how systems fit together, and resolving issues before they become problems. Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business remains one of the projects he’s most proud of; even with tight timelines and tough days, the team delivered something remarkable.
Where Paul sees his biggest impact is mentoring. He enjoys teaching and working with project engineers, supporting their technical learning, coaching them through challenges, and helping them grow with confidence. A quote that stuck with him — “Your legacy is what you teach the next generation” — guides how he leads and how he shows up for his teams.
Looking ahead, Paul is excited to see the next generation of leaders and the ideas they’ll bring. Power has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, a place where people are encouraged to look for new opportunities and find a better way. It’s how the company has diversified across so many markets, and he’s energized by whatever comes next.
Outside of work, his favorite place is his family cabin in Hayward, Wisconsin, where time on the lake with his family is the perfect reset.

Cory SchauerVice President
Northwestern University & DePaul University | Joined Power in 2022
Cory joined Power in 2022 after 15 years in HR leadership roles within the real estate industry, including serving as Senior Vice President at MB Real Estate. She was drawn to Power’s energy and culture right away — it felt like family from the very first conversation.
Her biggest impact comes from helping people navigate change and grow in their careers. She loves aligning talent and culture with the business’s needs, supporting project teams and operations in doing their best work by blending analytical insight with empathy. Listening carefully to understand what matters most to people, she believes, is the best way to create an environment where they are motivated to go above and beyond.
Cory chose Power for the same reason she stays, the culture and people who show that values and relationships truly matter. Her advice to new team members is simple: stay curious rather than judgmental, because curiosity opens doors and strengthens relationships.
Outside of work, she takes the most pride in her kids as they grow into their own unique people. She also loves to travel and while Maui is a favorite, she’s up for exploring just about anywhere.
Looking ahead, she is excited to be part of Power’s evolution as it grows while staying true to its core, and to help her team members grow into leaders.
