Power's Robust Intern Program Cultivates Future Construction Professionals

This summer, we are proud to welcome 27 interns from 14 different universities into the Power Family.  This hard-working group ranges from freshman through senior year and brings a wide-variety of experiences and backgrounds.  Heck, one intern even started wearing her hard hat at age 4!

From Data Scientist and Marketing, to being in the field as a Project Engineer Intern, this group will learn tremendously from their mentors and project team members.  Our goal is to not just teach the ins and outs of the industry, but even more important, to make sure every intern has a substantive opportunity to help make Power stronger by contributing in ways that really matter.  No simple job shadowing here!  Key to delivering this sort of experience is listening to what our intern's interests are and building a program around what they desire.

So, this summer, we expect to see lots of passion, proud smiles, and team-player mentality. Whether it is bowling a perfect 300 or beating our vice presidents in Cornhole, this group is here for a fun yet competitive summer full of growth and new experiences. To stay up to date with what our interns are up to, make sure to follow us on our social media where they will be sharing their experiences weekly.
